The French Government will soon present a new law to the National Assembly that aims to regulate restitution of works to African countries, encouraging all European countries to do the same, according to President Emmanuel Macron.

"We have returned to Benin its works and we want to go further, because a framework law will be proposed by the Minister of Culture in the next few weeks to our parliament.
Based on the recommendations of the work done by Jean-Luc Martinez, this law will allow the methodology and criteria to carry out new refunds to African countries that request it", declared Macron.
