During the meeting, El-Sisi expressed his country's aspiration to promote cooperation with the AfDB within the framework of common strategic objectives.
El-Sisi also praised the bank's role in assisting African development sectors, especially in light of growing economic challenges.
For her part, Adesina said that the Egyptian people and their political leadership have demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for rapid growth and the fulfillment of several significant objectives.
Egypt will host the 2023 AfDB Annual Meetings in Sharm El-Sheikh from 22 to 26 May.
